BLUEPRINTS:
Beyond the Negatives
Response Ability Theatre was proud to contribute to
the Old Diorama Arts Centre production

Co-created by Old Diorama Arts Centre's One Roof community of artists with lived experience of homelessness,
in a process led by One Roof's Creative Producer and RAT's Founder and Creative Lead Nell Hardy

During autumn of 2025, Old Diorama Arts Centre worked with Camden Council as part of their wider work on housing with the Euston Housing Delivery Group, set up by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, to help deliver new homes in the Euston area.
The Council wanted ODAC to gather local opinions on 3 main topics: what makes a good home; what makes a good neighbourhood; how can we work together in partnership?
Focusing on the third of these questions,
One Roof was proud to present its contribution to the findings on Friday 31st October 2025 at 1:30pm and 3:30pm
in the form of an interactive storytelling experience.
Working together in partnership is about more than putting in your two cents while others are putting in theirs. It's about being able to imagine the experience of a situation from another person's perspective: see what they see, hear what they hear, need what they need.

A handful of pre-selected audience members took on different characters to become a committee deciding how to approach some key homelessness-related issues in Camden. Once decisions were made, everyone saw a snapshot of what result those choices might bring.
There was poetry, drama, visual art, and fascinating conversation.

We were so proud to be a small part of the four-day Blueprints: A Festival of Community Powered Housing Ideas, brought together for Old Diorama Arts Centre by Sarah Nicholl and Caito Strongarm.

Thank you for letting us foreground the voices that should really be the first to be considered when regenerating housing in any locality: those of people in the area who don't yet have anywhere to call home.
